Voices4Cowper acknowledges and pays respect to the countries on which the Cowper electorate sits. We respect Gumbaynggirr, Dunghutti and Birpai countries and the Ancestors, Elders and Custodians who have cared for the land and waters and all life in these countries through time. We acknowledge the young custodians and emerging Elders today as we seek to support the democratic process and the continuity of life here. 

We are a group of volunteers from across the beautiful mid north coast, valleys and hinterland, who want our political representatives to better reflect our values and concerns.

We came together in 2019 and began listening to the community using Kitchen Table Conversations.

In 2024, we are updating our understanding of the issues of concern to the communities across Cowper. We are also listening for whether there is still a desire for an independent candidate to better represent us in federal parliament.
